Adding SOQs for Completer Interns
For Interns who were originally certified through us (ToT) and are adding T&I (Law Enforcement, Cosmetology, Automotive Tech, etc.), Marketing or Health Science: For interns who are currently on a probationary/intern cert for another subject but want to add a T&I area
Have SOQ APPROVED (See SOQ)
Pay the $35 TEA Technology Fee upfront.
If sent by check, must be addressed to Texas Teachers of Tomorrow sent to the Houston office.
Can be paid over the phone
Schedule a phone call with accounting
Pass corresponding exam (370 - T&I, 273 - Health Science, 275 - Marketing) If Applicable.
Apply for standard on the intern’s TEA account
Texas Teachers adds the SOQ area to their standard
For interns who were originally certified through a program other than Texas Teachers and are adding T&I, Marketing or Health Science:
Have SOQ APPROVED
The total cost is $500 for all interns in this category
The upfront down payment is $250 + $35 TEA Technology Fee.
If sent by check, must be addressed to Texas Teachers of Tomorrow,sent to the Houston office.
Can be paid over the phone
Pass corresponding exam (270 - T&I, 273 - Health Science, 275 - Marketing)
The remaining $250 will have to be paid before the standard
