The advisor needs to look up each applicant in TEA to determine if the intern has a TEA account.
Once in ECOS You will select Educator Search from the menu drop down
Next, you will enter the SSN from the Applicant's Prince account
If the intern does not have an account you will receive the following message
If the intern does have an account you will see a similar screen appear
If the applicant has a TEA account, the advisor must confirm the name in TEA matches the name in Prince provided on the candidate's application. This includes first name, last name, middle, maiden, and suffix.
If the name in TEA is different than the one we have in Prince, please confirm with the intern which is correct. If TEA is correct, update Prince to match it exactly, including the suffix. If the name in TEA is wrong, direct the intern to do a TEA Name Change.
