An intern may need to manually request a test approval for the following reasons:
- Intern is in phase II of the program and wants to switch cert areas
- Intern is in phase II of the program and their cert exam is expired
The intern will not be able to request an exam approval through their intern portal if they are in "Hired" status, and will need to fill out the "Candidate Request for Change of Certificate and Test Approval" document. See attached.
Advisor can email the intern the form to fill out and return to us at teach@texasteachers.org.
Manual test approvals still require that the intern complete test prep first before we will approve the exam. See Texas Teacher's Test Prep Modules.
Test Approvals:
Once you receive the form back, the Advisor will need to save it to the documents section of the Prince acccount as well as forward to the skill in five 9 titled TX Prgm Fulfillment inorder for a TX Prgrm Fulfillment advisor to add and approve the exam.
