Once the intern has received a Residency License (RL form) they may being teaching as a full-time teacher of record. The intern is required to teach for one full academic year (180 instructional days) as part of Teachers of Tomorrow’s program requirements.
Upon completion of the intern’s time taught, they must submit a Time Taught letter with the following information:
- The letter must be on the school or school district’s letterhead stationery.
- Intern’s first and last name must be present.
- The name of the school the intern worked at must be present.
- Specific dates of employment must be present, limited to instructional days only.
- The title held by the intern must be present.
- The number of instructional days completed must be present.
