Candidates who resign during their time teaching on an ITC must notify Michigan Teachers of Tomorrow of their resignation.  The advisor should email the template in Five9 titled "MI - Resignation Questions." 


Once the intern has responded to our questions please email the information below to our certification support team at certification@teachersoftomorrow.org

  4. Are you Breaking your Contract?
  5. Has your district/campus been notified about the resignation?
  6. Do you plan to continue with the Michigan Teachers program?
  7. If possible, please also email us your resignation letter as well.

It is important to note that if an intern breaks a contract with their school and/or leaves on bad terms, this could be grounds for dismissal from the Michigan Teachers program. The intern should take appropriate measures by communicating with their school/HR department to provide appropriate notice and leave in good standing.
