A VOE or Verification of employment, is a document that verifies where the intern is working. It is typically a one page document, on school letterhead submitted to us via PDF. Interns will need to request a VOE with the following information below from their school district where they have been hired.
First and Last name
Start date of employment
Full-time or part-time employment as the teacher of record
Subject and grade level taught
Signed by the principal, assisant principal, or HR representative
The VOE should be emailed to teach@northcarolinateachers.org. Once received the advisor would send the VOE over to certification support at certification@teachersoftomorrow.org for processing.
