Starting 03/01/2024 the Admission Certification Area is required for all states prior to offering admission to our program.  


North Carolina/Michigan/Indiana/Arizona/Nevada - Determined by the intern's choice 


Texas/ South Carolina  - Determined by coursework on transcripts and entered by fulfillment 


Ohio/Florida - Predetermined by the state Department of Education



Adding the Admission Certification Area in Prince: 


NC/MI/IN/AZ/NV ONLY 


Step 1: Expand the Admission Certification Area Tab in Prince 


Step 2: Click on "Add Admission Cert Area" 


Step 3: Add the Admission Certification Area and Reason should = Growth States Only: Candidate Choice 



Texas/South Carolina ONLY 


Fulfillment will enter the admission certification area based on the subject concentration located from the transcripts.  


TX Only: If the candidate passes a PACT exam the Advisor should enter the Admission Certification area with the Reason = Passed PACT Exam 



Ohio/Florida Only: 


The Admission Certification Area should equal the area outlined on either the registration confirmation letter (OH) or the SOE for Florida.  


Ohio Only: The candidate has already passed a certification exam so the Reason should = Passed Certification Exam 



Florida Only: The reason should = Florida: Approved SOE Area 



Switching Certification areas after enrollment while in PAID Status:   


Growth States Only.  NOT TX.  


If an intern decides to change their certification area pursued after they enroll, the advisor should ADD the new admission certification area to the Intern's Prince account and list the Reason as "Growth States Only: Candidate Change"
