Communications to our uncertified teacher population are going out over the next several weeks with a goal of engaging with them and motivating them to complete their program requirements to be eligible for an intern certificate.

Population: This is a large group of interns (14K) who are currently enrolled in the program and are actively teaching as the teacher of record uncertified.  They have not completed phase I of the program to qualify for an intern certificate.

Should one of the candidates call in regarding their email communication advisors should encourage the intern to complete their phase I requirements to become eligible for their intern certificate before potential changes go into effect.

Talking Points:

  • "While there are no immediate changes being implemented by the state, we believe in keeping you all in the loop about any proposed adjustments that may affect your certification journey.  The proposed changes have been linked in the email we sent out. Let's review what requirements you currently have pending for an intern cert to avoid potentially being impacted by future changes."
  • "Let's review what you have outstanding to get  you certified so that  you are not impacted by any potential changes."

  • "Our commitment to transparency and keeping our interns informed remains unwavering.   Changes are being discussed by the Texas Education Agency and as of right now, there is no change to your program.  To ensure you are set up for success let's review your current requirements to become eligible for your intern certificate before any changes are made."

  • "Our goal is to ensure you stay ahead of the curve and equipped with the knowledge needed to navigate any potential changes seamlessly.  Rest assured we are here to support you every step of the way and will provide updates as soon as we have them."
