The changes affecting advisors in this sprint include a save button being added to the certification preferences for TX applicants, FL FBE requirements added to the intern’s portal, and a fix to the pre-admission portal for growth states was implemented.
TX – Teaching Preferences Save Button
With recent changes to the TX application including a question on what the candidate’s teaching preferences are, there was not a way to manually add or adjust those teaching preferences in the advisor portal and save them. Now, moving forward under the admission tab in the advisor portal of Prince the advisor will be able to save teaching preferences for each candidate.
Growth States – Pre-admission portal access with email and DOB
A fix has been put into place so that interns with our growth states can access their pre-admission portal with their email and date of birth from https://preadmission.teachersoftomorrow.org/#/check-status . When entered, a unique link to their portal will be sent to their email on file to access their portal.
FL – Field Based Experience Requirement Instructions in Portal
In the intern portal under Menu> Field Based Experience we have added the field based experience requirements and instructions for our candidates.
