Effective 01.11.24 each advisor should use the application path for candidates that fall into the following categories:

  • GPA PACT: Intern has a GPA between 2.3-2.499 and is taking the PACT exam for admission
  • Contingency: Intern is within their last semester of graduating with the bachelor's degree
  • Transfer Form Needed: Intern was part of another EPP prior to applying to our program and requires a transfer form
  • 12-Hour PACT: Intern does not have an admission certification area that could be located on their transcripts and must take the PACT exam for admission to the program.

If a candidate falls into multiple categories, please mark both.  For example, Transfer Form needed and Contingency.

It is imperative that we use the application path for each of these categories for tracking and admission purposes.

Advisors can ask questions to discover if a candidate falls into one of these categories like:

"Do you remember your GPA from college?"

"Were you enrolled in another educator prep program like a college or university or other ACP"

"When is your expected graduation date?"

Additionally, identifying these individuals can be done after we process their transcripts by throughouly checking  for transcript processing notes and the Education and Work History Tab.  Or, checking TEA for previous exam attempts through another EPP.

Once you have identified that the intern falls into one of the above categories you will mark the application path under the admission tab of the advisor portal of Prince.
