Step 1: Send the intern the back ground check authorization form attached to this article. The intern should return it to the respective teach email address for the state.  

Step 2: Once the authorization form has been filled out by the intern and returned to Teach@michiganteachers.org or Teach@floridateachers.org the advisor should email it to certification support at certification@teachersoftomorrow.org 

Step 3: Certification Support will process the background check through the people facts website and update the account.   If additional information is needed Cert Support will email the advisor back to request it from the intern.
