The changes affecting advisors this sprint include changes to the MI what’s next checklist, updates to the advisor portal and intern portal regarding the finish line promotion when interns opt-in for all states, and new email notifications after payment is established for all states.

MI – What’s Next Checklist Changes
‘Federal Background Check’ and ‘Interim Teaching Certificate Application’ items on the what’s next checklist have been moved from the ‘Right Now! Before employment’ section to the ‘Once you have a job’ section.
All States – Finish Line Promotion portal updates
Once an intern opts into our finish line promotion a note will be added to the advisor portal of Prince that indicates the following:
Additional messaging has also been added to the payment screen of the intern portal once the intern opts in.
Consistent messaging has also been added once the intern selects their payment plan to reflect they have opted in and the qualifications of the discount. “You’ve opted in to receive 20% promotional discount on your program fees. To qualify for the discount, you have until Jan 31,2024 to complete all the checklist items on the (1) ‘Right Now! Before Employment’ AND (2) ‘Once you have a job’ sections of the “What’s Next Checklist,” Setting up your payments is required to qualify.
The 20% discount for those who qualify and who have opted in will auto-populate when the contract is created.
All States – Email notifications after payment is Established
Now, when an intern selects the ACH pay in full option an email notification will go out confirming their payment amount and draft date.
This email notification can also be located in the intern portal under the “Contact History” tab.
