Starting Tuesday 11/07/2023, those who have opted in will feed into Five 9 for automated outbound dialing.   This is a great opportunity to reconnect with these interns and get them excited again about teaching!

 

It is important that we cover a few items with these interns: 

 

  1. Welcome them back to the program!  Many of these interns have been idle for years and have not logged into their intern portal in the last 3-6 months. 
    1. “Welcome back to Teachers of Tomorrow! I see you opted into our recent promotion.  We are so thrilled you have decided to pick up where you left off.”  
  2. Confirm they can log into their intern portal.  Confirm the email address on file is their username.  Walk them through resetting their password if needed 
    1. “Can I walk you through logging into your portal and finding your what’s next checklist?” 
    2. “Are you near your computer, I can walk you through logging into your portal?”

  1. Go over their immediate next steps to become eligible for hire.  
    1. “Are you still familiar with your program requirements to become eligible for hire?” 
  2. Find out where they may be interested in teaching and help fill out their job profile 
    1. “Do you know what districts you may want to teach for?” 
    2. “Are you familiar with the new job profile feature we added to your portal?” 
    3. “It will take me just 2 minutes to fill it out for you, what district are you interested in teaching for?” 
  3. Remind the intern of the promotion deadline of 1/31/2024
    1. “As a reminder, to receive the promotion and get your 20% off program fees, you must have your ‘Right Now! Before employment’ and ‘Once you have a job’ sections of your what’s next checklist completed before 1/31/2024.  
    2. “Are there any final questions on how to complete those requirements?”
