Changes affecting advisors for this Sprint release include new credit card payment options for our interns, and restricting access for PAID interns to certain projects for our growth states.

Credit Card Payment Options 

Starting 09.13.23 interns will now have the option to establish payments using a credit card.  They will have the option to select a pay in full option with their credit card or establish re-occurring monthly payments that draft from their credit card vs. a bank account.  

From the payment screen they will have the option to select either ACH or Credit Card from the drop down menu.

  • Please note:  If an intern selects a credit card as their payment method, they will be subject to a 3% convenience fee that is non-refundable for each payment taken from their card.
  • If they make a one-time lump sum payment it will 3% of their total program fees.  If they sign up for monthly payments, each month their payment is taken from their card an additional 3% will be charged.  For Example: if the intern’s monthly payments are for $400, their credit card is charged for $412 to include the 3% convenience fee.

Project Restriction (700.8IP) – Growth States 

For candidates in Paid status, the Project, 700.8IP The Instructional Cycle, will be restricted until they have been hired and their account reflects Hired Status.  Verbiage has been added to the intern portal to communicate that this project is not available until they on their teaching certificate.
