The application is a 2 part process and the first part takes only 60 seconds to complete on average!
When completing the application interns are asked "Why do you want to teach?"
They can choose multiple responses from the following selection:
- I enjoy working with children
- I feel education needs people who can bring a perspective from other fields
- I have always wanted to be a teacher
- I have always wanted to work with children
- I like leading and having responsibility for others
- I saw an opportunity and chose to pursue it
Their response to the application question can be located in Prince under the "Admission" tab. This is a great conversation starter to engage our applicants!
Next they complete their degree level information and are asked if this is the first time they are applying to an ACP.
The box automatically checks off, but should an intern previously be enrolled in another program they will need to uncheck the box.
