Occasionally, interns will copy or include a TEA specialist they have been communicating with on an email or phone call.  Advisors should refrain from communicating directly with TEA or a TEA representative via phone or email.   Instead, the advisor should get our Certification Support department involved.  The easiest way to do this via email, is to forward the email communication to Certification Support at Operations@TEXASTEACHERS1.onmicrosoft.com .  


Advise the Applicant/Intern and the TEA representative that you are forwarding to your certification support department to help with the inquiry regarding the account.


How to identify an email communication from TEA:

Any email communication that a TEA representative sends out will contain their signature which will indicate they are a TEA representative.

When you see that an applicant or intern has copied a TEA representative on an email, send to certification support and advise the intern you are doing so for better communication.
