Sprint Release Changes 04.26.23 @7pm
The updates affecting advisors for this sprint release include notations in the advisor portal for TX interns when certification support processes an SOE. Additionally, changes to the FBE queue have been made that will help our FBE team sort incoming submissions by date which should help improve processing times.

TX – SOE Processing Notes
Certification support will now have the option to indicate pending/missing verifications needed when processing SOEs in the employment queue. Although the changes made do not directly affect the advisors process, Advisors will see more detailed notes in interns accounts reflecting the items missing or pending to move forward with processing the intern’s employment.
Missing Verification will be categorized into one of the following:
SMK – intern hasn’t passed corresponding exams for the area they have been hired for
SPED – Certification support must verify every special education assignment with the hiring district’s HR
Schedule – Intern’s schedule is needed with class times, grades and subjects to confirm it will meet time taught for the intern’s cert area
Mentor – Mentor teacher assignment
Course Description – course description required in order to confirm cert area matches

FBE Queue Sort Date
IT has made adjustments to the FBE queue so our FBE team can sort submissions by date. This should help to improve processing times overall. No changes to advisor view or process, just helpful information about changes made.
