The updates affecting advisors include changes to the process in submitting Long Term Substitute experience for FBEs for Texas, and Bug fixes for the Enrollment Fee remaining balance and Start Now button not showing for some interns under Premium Test Prep.

FBE Updates for Texas program
Interns no longer need to submit long-term substitute experience through their intern portal to receive credit for 15 hours of field based experience.
Instead, the intern will fill out the Long-Term Substitute Verification Form linked in the intern portal under Menu> Field Based Experience> Long-Term Substitute. Once the form is filled out and signed by their district HR department they will submit it to fbe@teachersoftomorrow.org.
Our FBE team will then update the intern’s Prince account and portal with their 15 hours of field based experience.
Updating long term sub experience is designated to our FBE team only. All advisors should refrain from using the new tab located under the field based experience tab in the advisor portal.
Once our FBE team updates the intern’s account, their 15 hours of field based experience will automatically update in their portal and be marked as verified
Bug Fix for Enrollment Fee- All States
A bug was identified with the remaining balance reflected in the intern’s portal showing their remaining balance for their enrollment fee. The balance was inaccurate and lower than what they owed. With the fix, it will now reflect the current balance which will appear higher than it did previously.
With the fix, the correct amount will reflect, but may be higher than the Intern previously saw, which may result in phone calls or escalations. Please direct them to their enrollment agreement and paid invoices to support the remaining balance reflecting. $345-$155= $230.
Bug fix for Premium Test Prep access – TX
Some interns were not able to access the “Start Now” button to their free trial with TLL under Premium Test Prep through their intern portal. This was due to them already having an account with TLL prior to enrolling in our program. This has been fixed, and the intern should now see a “Start Now” button under Premium Test Prep.
