Talking Points regarding assignment of a field supervisor.
"Mr. Intern, a field supervisor will be assigned to you upon getting hired to teach on your Residency License. Before North Carolina Teachers can assign you a field supervisor there are a few things we will need to confirm.
- Have you submitted your "I've Got a Job" form through your intern portal under the Employment tab?
- Have you submitted your signed form RL to us. It must be signed by both you and your hiring school system.
- You must also submit your pre-signed Form RL to NCDPI along with your RL application and fees.
- Once NCDPI processes the form and application they will issue your Residency License.
- Lastly, you will need to establish payment for your program fees.
Once all of this has been completed, we will work to get a field supervisor assigned to you within 7 days."
