If a District Select candidate calls in on the main line and reaches a program or enrollment advisor, the advisor should transfer that candidate to the correct district select skill in five9 for our Dedicated Advisor, Danielle, to assist them.  Program and Enrollment Advisors should NOT attempt to help the district select intern because there are several requirements that differ along with processing times that differ for our district select candidates.

Process:

1.) Identifying a district select intern

In the top left corner of the intern's Prince account under their name, you will find the sponsor district name. This indicates the intern is a district select Intern.

2.) Verify the intern Name, phone and email and get a brief description of why they are calling.

3.) Next, you will notify the intern that you are going to transfer them to their Dedicated Advisor

4.) Make the warm transfer in five 9 by selecting the specific district select skill that correlates with their district.  Example: Francisco Calderon, you would select DS- Arlington ISD.

5.) If the dedicated advisor is not available to take the call, let the intern know that you are going to transfer them to voicemail, and their dedicated advisor will call them back ASAP. At that time, you can conduct a cold transfer.

District select candidates may also reach out via email to districtselect@teachersoftomorrow.org.  Only provide that email to interns who are already district select candidates.

Please do not transfer a sponsored candidate to the district select skill in five9 unless they are sponsored by one of the following districts:

Hays CISD

Mesquite ISD

Arlington ISD

Goose Creek CISD

Spring Branch ISD

Pflugerville TCLAS

Calhoun County ISD

Lewisville ISD

Dallas ISD
