Special Education typically requires more than one exam. The most common combination for elementary is the 161,391,and 293 exams.
If the intern is delivering core content they will be required to take more than just the 161 exam. Our certification department will verify the SPED teaching assignment with human resources to confirm if core content is being delivered and if an additional core content exam is required before recommending the intern certificate.
