If an intern is actively teaching on an emergency permit, NOTHING changes as part of their program requirements.
The intern still needs to focus on passing their exam(s) first
completing their 30 hours of field based experience
and completing their required online training
The intern is NOT required to complete their year on their emergency permit before transitioning to their intern certificate.
Encourage interns to complete their pre-service requirements in this order as soon as possible to qualify for an intern certificate.

Once their pre-service is complete and they have access to their SOE they need to take the steps necessary for an intern certificate so that their time taught will start counting toward becoming fully certified. See R2R Intern cert
