What is it?

Letter of Enrollment - (LOE) is a letter documenting that the intern is enrolled in our program and that they have demonstrated subject matter knowledge (SMK) in a one or more subject areas.

What is is NOT?

It is NOT their admission letter stating they have been admitted to the program.  Interns do not receive their official Letter of enrollment upon simply enrolling in the program.  They must pass their content exam(s) first.

When do Interns gain access?

Interns gain access to their enrollment letter through their intern portal once they have passed their content exam(s).

If an intern's certification area requires only one certification exam, upon  passing their exam, they will gain access to their LOE.  If their certification area requires multiple content exams like the 391 Core Subjects EC-6 and the 293 Science of Teaching Reading, then the intern will receive access to their LOE upon passing both exams.

Where is it located?

It is located in the intern portal under Menu>Letter of Enrollment/SOE.  Interns can download it at their convenience and the date upon the document will update each time.
