Grading for ALL projects is delayed due to an increase in submissions. Projects will be reviewed in the order they were received.   See Processing Times

For escalated interns regarding grading times for their projects, please discuss with your manager to decide if the manager should escalate to our curriculum department.

Advisors should NOT email curriculumsupport@texasteachers.org directly with their expedite requests rather reach out to their manager to review the account for expediting qualifications.

Interns with a 2017 Rule Set are required to complete 6 performance based projects as part of their required online training.

These are completed during phase I of the program (The Pre-Service)

1.) TNT 700.1PBP - Performance Based Project 1 - The Teacher

2.) TNT 700.2PBP - Performance Based Project 2 - The Learner

3.) TNT 700.3PBP - Performance Based Project 3 - Planning Instruction Part 1

4.) TNT 700.4PBP - Performance Based Project 4 - Planning Instruction Part 2

5.) TNT 700.5PBP - Performance Based Project 5 - Planning Instruction Part 3

6.) TNT 700.6PBP - Performance Based Project 6 - The Learning Environment

Phase II of the program requires interns to complete 1 performance based project

This project must be completed during the active school year and the intern must use data from their classroom to complete the project.

Please Note: The deadline to submit TNT 700.8IP The Instructional Cycle for the 24-25 school year is May 15th, 2024 at 11:59pm.

  • An email notification will go out on Monday 04/24 to all TX Hireds who are on an active certificate that expires prior to 09/06/2023 notifying them about the May 15th deadline to have their project submitted.  It applies to both TNT 700.7IP and TNT 700.8IP (2009 and 2017 rules).  Interns must have their internship project submitted by May 15th.  If they don’t, they will need to go on an extension to complete it in the fall. As always, they should consult with their district if an active certificate is required to maintain employment. (it usually is)
    1. Keep in mind, interns with mid year starts who must teach into the 24-25 school year to meet time taught will be able to submit their project in August when we launch our new project.    So always check the intern’s certificate expiration date before advising!
  •  Re-submissions for those who met the deadline will be accepted until 05/31.
  • Curriculum support has noticed an issue with submissions on 700.8IP made late on 5/15, not going into the queue for grading. Please send anyone who complains about late grading to curriculum support so they can verify if the project is submitted and there for grading.

This project is located in the intern's portal under Menu>Training Progress> Internship Project
